Today while Tucker was playing a fishing game on the Wii our cat Mila got overly interested in what was going on on the tv. It cracked us all up...I had to snap a picture before I shooed her away..good thing it was Mila because Mocha is huge and probably would have knocked the tv over.

Proud of my big boy
Tucker really doesn't have much of an interest for academic things. He is definitely a sports and games type of guy, but today he was coloring on the easel and told me he wanted to write his name. So I wrote his name on the bottom of the board and we practiced each letter, then he wrote his name all by himself, without me guiding his had at all, like I usually do. I'm so proud of him and I think he was proud of himself too!

Man I suck...
I have been pretty busy getting things organized around the house, so I have been slacking just a bit on posting stuff of the blog.
Last Saturday was the boys first soccer game. Tucker did great and had a blast. Trey refused to put his uniform on at the house and wouldn't play the first half of the game. Vinny called and talked Trey into playing, well more like bribed him with a new toy. Then Trey went in the game and did awesome. He was right in the mix of things, going after the ball and playing hard, you would have never guessed that the beginning of the game he did not want to play at all! Tucker played goalie for a little while and he is a really good at it..he watches the ball and moves in the direction the ball is coming and he is not afraid of diving on top of the ball. It was so fun to watch them both play. I really love it! Hopefully next game Trey will play without having to be bribed :D

32 Weeks....
How did I get here already....I seriously can't believe I'm 32 weeks. I had my doctors appointment Wednesday and besides having to wait almost an hour past my appointment time (and wasting half of my free time while the boys were at school), it was a good appointment. My blood pressure is good and the little guys heart rate was around 157 this time. I gained 4 pounds since last time..so I'm gaining 2 pounds a week and I think my doctor has finally just realized that this how my body is because she didn't scold me or tell me to cut back or anything like that or only to tell me to gain the pound a week like she told me last time. That made me happy...plus these past 2 weeks proves my body is just going to gain what it wants to because any type of junk or greasy food makes me really nauseous and I have been eating less than I was before because I get really full and stay full ( I think Mr.T is squishing on my stomach or something because I cannot eat my usual portion size) and because the weather has cooled down quite a bit I have been going on a good length walk every other day and on the days I don't walk, I'm usually out shopping or up on my feet cleaning/organizing/getting things ready for baby that I am too sore to walk....It was nice not to get a lecture on something I can't really control nor do I really feel it is something I need to be concerned about..because health wise I am completely healthy. She measured my belly again and I am still measuring 4 weeks ahead..and she commented about how lopsided I looked because he was sitting mostly on my right side with his head stuck up and out and the top of my belly and his but kind of sticking out on the bottom...I don't know if that makes sense, but I can feel where and how he is sitting (usually). His feet are either curled up or he lets them dangle into my pelvis. I am really glad it is finally cooling down a bit here because I have started swelling when I get hot..the doctor told me it was normal and just try and stay cool and keep water with me at all times...which I do already. She said that next appointment she will schedule another ultrasound for me just to check his size again...around 36 weeks or so. I hope she will just let me go until my 39th week like we planned earlier because then his birthday will be 11/11...and I think that's a good date and it goes with the other boys birthdays 2/2/05 and 6/5/06...plus we still have a lot to get done...
I did talk Vinny into painting the room for me, but now he just needs some time off of work to actually get it done. I think I want it to be cream with a big brown stripe on the wall (like about a quarter of the way down the wall) then I'm going to paint some canvases with the blue and yellow colors to add some more color into the room. In my mind it looks really good, so let's hope it comes out that way. I did finally buy the carseat. I was having trouble picking one out (like I am having trouble picking anything out). I ended up getting the Baby Trend one that will harness up to 30 pounds..that way if this baby gets big like Trey he won't out grow the infant carrier by 6 months...it's safer to keep them in the appropriate carseat for as long as possible. A few weeks back I got the Baby Trend Sit n Stand stroller and I got a Baby Trend Snap and Go a few months back..so it made sense to get the same carseat..especially since it is one of the safest carseats out there. I got a good deal on all of the stuff I bought and then right after I bought the carseat at babies r us, I ran into Target to see if then had anything good on sale, and I found the base for the carseat on clearance for only $10..I was so excited...and it wasn't even opened or anything...it was something someone purchased online and returned to the store and since the store doesn't carry that base in store the mark it down super cheap just to get rid of it...good deals make me happy :D I finally decided on the crib, but I went online to go buy it and it is out of stock...on every website and they don't know when they are or even if they are getting anymore back in stock. So I'm pretty upset and now I am really having trouble finding a crib I really like....I know the style I like, but I really can't decide on a color...and it's hard to determine color off the computer screen..and I would buy one in the store, but I can get such a better deal on line, so I would rather take the chance of the color being a little off, than spending way more in store.

Yard work needed!
With Vinny working and the weather being pretty rainy, our grass hasn't been cut in a while...the back yard looked like a forest...the boys didn't even want to go play out there because it was just too long....Vinny finally got a chance to cut the grass, but I snapped a few pictures before he did...

Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa T
This past weekend we stayed with Vinny's parents. Vinny's mom is still recovering from her surgery, but is doing a little better. Vinny and his dad did some more work on the property, but the rain kept them from getting as much done as they really wanted. The boys kept busy playing outside in the mud and I kept Vinny's mom company and really got to relax. On Sunday, Grandpa and Vinny took the boys fishing at this river a few minutes from the house and caught a good haul of fish. The kept 2 catfish and 4 perch..but caught more than that. Usually a perch is about as big as your hand, but one of the ones they caught was huge. We had a lot of fun and I know we will be back again soon.

The boys first sleepover
Last weekend the boys had their very first sleepover with one of their very best friends, Brendan. Brendan has been asking Tucker and Trey to sleep over all summer and Tucker kept going back and forth whether he was actually going to go over there (they only live 1 street over) I highly doubted the boys would actually stay over there, so we invited Brendan over here. They played and watched Transformers. When it came time to sleep, Trey had already fallen asleep on the couch and Tucker and Brendan were on the other couch. Brendan said he would rather sleep in Trey's bed, so I told Tucker to go sleep in his bed..and he said he wouldn't, that he wanted to stay on the couch...so poor Brendan slept in the boys room by himself, but he didn't seem to mind one bit. Trey was definitely not ready for this yet because he just couldn't stop messing around with everything, but I still think they had fun.

30 Weeks...Yikes.....
Today I am 30 weeks...which means only 9 weeks to go....I'm so excited and can't wait to have a new baby in the house again, but man do we still have a lot to do...
Last week my doctor had me go do another ultrasound because I was measuring big. The perinatalogist told me that he was a little big, but only by a few days, so that is nothing to worry about and that he was sitting in the breech position. His head is up and kind of out towards my right side and his body curves over (with his back up towards the sky) to the left side of me, leaving his feet to dangle down. Other than that he said everything looked great..all the right parts in the right places and my fluid level is fine. The doctor told me that our little guy is right about 3 and a half pounds. The gave me a picture, but it's not really that great...
I am too lazy to hook up my scanner, so I just took a picture of the picture..it's a little blurry, but I think you can see his face better because it's a little blurry. If you can't tell it is a shot of looking straight onto his face.
Yesterday I had my check up and things were good, according to me and just okay according to my doctor. My blood pressure was good and my test results for the gestational diabetes came back normal. His heartbeat was about 138. My doctor was not happy because I gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks. She told me I should only be gaining 1 pound a week. So she told me to cut my calories way back and blah, blah, blah....I am so irritated by this because I am proud because I am only up 33 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight..and if I keep gaining about 2 pounds a week up until I have him I will be 15 pounds lighter than when I had both boys....so I have given up on trying to convince her that I just get big when I am pregnant....every woman is different and she just doesn't seem to be okay with this. I still feel good and my rings still fit and my pants still fit...which by this point in both of my other pregnancies..nothing fit anymore... When she measured my belly I measured 34 weeks..so I'm still measuring about 4 weeks ahead...so she said if I keep measuring big that she will send me for another ultrasound in 4-5 weeks to check on things... I don't quite understand why she is so overly concerned about this..first off since I am carrying him breech my measurements will be off because of the way his body is positioned compared to a normal head down baby...and I am having a c-section anyways so size isn't that big of an issue anyways..plus when I had Trey the doctor did an ultrasound a few days before my c-section and he pretty much guaranteed us that Trey would be at least the same size as Tucker, if not bigger, but when Trey came out, he was almost an entire pound less...Tucker was 8lbs 7.5 ounces(19 inches) and Trey was 7lbs and 9 ounces(20 inches)...I think once they babies are so close to being done..it is harder to tell how much they actually weigh. But overall a good check up.
Today I went to get my hair cut and the person cutting my hair was asking about the baby and things..they asked when I was due and I said not until mid November. Then a few minutes later they asked..."so do you eat a lot or something..." I said.. "no I just make big babies.." I was trying my hardest not to laugh..just the way the question was posed.... I know I get big when I get pregnant and I guess for some people they just think it is crazy...Another girl asked me if I was due really soon...I said "no, I still have until November" and she said..."oh wow..." and then didn't say anything else....When I was pregnant with Tucker and Trey everyone always said...you must be due any day now...they started saying that when I was about 6 months...so at least this time I got until 7 months before everyone started asking...
We are finally getting some shopping done. My parents bought us the bedding set we really wanted. It's really cute and I can't wait to put it out...we just have to get the crib first. I was having trouble deciding which crib I wanted and finally narrowed it down to 2 and go figure both of them are out of stock right now...so looks like I will have keep looking for one or hope one of the ones I really like comes back in stock. I really want to paint the room, but I will have to see how Vinny feels about that because he will be the one doing most of the work. The blue in the bedding REALLY clashes with the blue/purple on the walls....I have a really cute idea of how to paint the room..so hopefully it will work out the way I want. We really do have a lot of things to get and get done, but at least I am slowly checking things off my list...he will be here before we know it!

1st Day of School
Today was Tucker first day back to school and Trey's first day of school ever(well that is without me at the school with him)!
Tucker was really excited about it and couldn't wait to go back to school without me. He told me he wasn't going to cry this year because he is a big boy (he cried the first 3 day last year) and he didn't cry at all. He was really excited. I got him a new backpack..a camo one (he calls it his Army bag)...it's kind of big, but he really wanted an Army bag, so I will just have to deal with it.
Trey wasn't quite so sure about going to school without me. Tucker was a great big brother and gave him a bunch of nice pep talks all day yesterday and this morning. I could definitely tell he was a little nervous this morning at home and the drive over, but once we got there and he was in the classroom he was totally fine. He gave me a hug good-bye and made me kiss his little kitty he brought along...he wouldn't kiss me though for some reason....and he waved bye and I left...with no issues or tears!!! I was so relieved! I was so worried he was going to cry and that would have broke my heart...
Now, what did I do with my time....I wandered...I went to the post office...it took forever...but it was nice just standing there with only my thoughts. Then I went to Target..tried on some clothes, wandered around the entire store...it was funny because I always walk around Target the same way and I turned into the toy section...and I realized...I don't have to walk through the toy section if I don't want to...so I didn't! It was nice. And I had a yummy carmel frappacino...and I didn't have to worry about anyone asking me to have a sip. After that I went to Ross and TJ Max..and found nothing...I was bummed because usually I can find amazing deals there...and this time nothing...but it was still fun. Then I went over to Hobby Lobby and picked up some fabric to start on my next baby project and I was trying to find boxes for the boys room that I can decorate or paint, but I didn't find what I was looking for. After that it was time for me to go get the boys! It was a very fun day....but it was so weird not having at least one of the boys with me while I was out!
When I picked them up they were very excited and told me they had a good day. Tucker colored me a picture and Trey drew one for Vinny...which is funny because usually it is the other way around!
