This past weekend we stayed with Vinny's parents. Vinny's mom is still recovering from her surgery, but is doing a little better. Vinny and his dad did some more work on the property, but the rain kept them from getting as much done as they really wanted. The boys kept busy playing outside in the mud and I kept Vinny's mom company and really got to relax. On Sunday, Grandpa and Vinny took the boys fishing at this river a few minutes from the house and caught a good haul of fish. The kept 2 catfish and 4 perch..but caught more than that. Usually a perch is about as big as your hand, but one of the ones they caught was huge. We had a lot of fun and I know we will be back again soon.
