32 Weeks....

How did I get here already....I seriously can't believe I'm 32 weeks. I had my doctors appointment Wednesday and besides having to wait almost an hour past my appointment time (and wasting half of my free time while the boys were at school), it was a good appointment. My blood pressure is good and the little guys heart rate was around 157 this time. I gained 4 pounds since last time..so I'm gaining 2 pounds a week and I think my doctor has finally just realized that this how my body is because she didn't scold me or tell me to cut back or anything like that or only to tell me to gain the pound a week like she told me last time. That made me happy...plus these past 2 weeks proves my body is just going to gain what it wants to because any type of junk or greasy food makes me really nauseous and I have been eating less than I was before because I get really full and stay full ( I think Mr.T is squishing on my stomach or something because I cannot eat my usual portion size) and because the weather has cooled down quite a bit I have been going on a good length walk every other day and on the days I don't walk, I'm usually out shopping or up on my feet cleaning/organizing/getting things ready for baby that I am too sore to walk....It was nice not to get a lecture on something I can't really control nor do I really feel it is something I need to be concerned about..because health wise I am completely healthy. She measured my belly again and I am still measuring 4 weeks ahead..and she commented about how lopsided I looked because he was sitting mostly on my right side with his head stuck up and out and the top of my belly and his but kind of sticking out on the bottom...I don't know if that makes sense, but I can feel where and how he is sitting (usually). His feet are either curled up or he lets them dangle into my pelvis. I am really glad it is finally cooling down a bit here because I have started swelling when I get hot..the doctor told me it was normal and just try and stay cool and keep water with me at all times...which I do already. She said that next appointment she will schedule another ultrasound for me just to check his size again...around 36 weeks or so. I hope she will just let me go until my 39th week like we planned earlier because then his birthday will be 11/11...and I think that's a good date and it goes with the other boys birthdays 2/2/05 and 6/5/06...plus we still have a lot to get done...



I did talk Vinny into painting the room for me, but now he just needs some time off of work to actually get it done. I think I want it to be cream with a big brown stripe on the wall (like about a quarter of the way down the wall) then I'm going to paint some canvases with the blue and yellow colors to add some more color into the room. In my mind it looks really good, so let's hope it comes out that way. I did finally buy the carseat. I was having trouble picking one out (like I am having trouble picking anything out). I ended up getting the Baby Trend one that will harness up to 30 pounds..that way if this baby gets big like Trey he won't out grow the infant carrier by 6 months...it's safer to keep them in the appropriate carseat for as long as possible. A few weeks back I got the Baby Trend Sit n Stand stroller and I got a Baby Trend Snap and Go a few months back..so it made sense to get the same carseat..especially since it is one of the safest carseats out there. I got a good deal on all of the stuff I bought and then right after I bought the carseat at babies r us, I ran into Target to see if then had anything good on sale, and I found the base for the carseat on clearance for only $10..I was so excited...and it wasn't even opened or anything...it was something someone purchased online and returned to the store and since the store doesn't carry that base in store the mark it down super cheap just to get rid of it...good deals make me happy :D I finally decided on the crib, but I went online to go buy it and it is out of stock...on every website and they don't know when they are or even if they are getting anymore back in stock. So I'm pretty upset and now I am really having trouble finding a crib I really like....I know the style I like, but I really can't decide on a color...and it's hard to determine color off the computer screen..and I would buy one in the store, but I can get such a better deal on line, so I would rather take the chance of the color being a little off, than spending way more in store.
