zoo

We have been wanting to take the boys to the zoo for the longest time now, but the weather was not cooperating. Finally last week we had a break in the crappy weather and headed to the zoo. Ty slept for the majority of the time, but woke up towards the end and enjoyed looking at some of the animals, especially the tropical fish aquarium! Tucker's favorite thing this time was this little baby monkey, he was actually younger than Ty, but was already jumping and running around. Both boys thought that was pretty crazy that a baby could do all those things. Trey said his favorite animal was the girrafe. It was a fun family day!

3 months old!!!!!

My little baby Ty is already 3 months old! He of course is growing so fast and doing lots of new things. I'm so sad because he still hasn't laughed yet..he is getting so close, a half laugh and half giggle here and there, but no full laugh yet...I seriously can't wait. He is talking and coo-ing up a storm. It is so dang cute. He loves use his voice. I love it. He is a strong little guy. I will lean him back on a couple of pillows (at about a 45 degree angle) he can pull himself all the way up off the pillow, last night he pulled himself so far up that he fell forward into the bed. While we were at Target, we decided to get him a little toy. I held up one and he just stared, but I held up another and he smiled at it, I took it away and showed him another and he just stared again, but as soon as I held up the toy(the one in the picture) he smiled at it again. So we got it and he loves that toy. He holds it all the time. The thing that really cracks me up is, like in the picture, he holds the toy in one hand and sucks on the other hand. he

Tucker's birthday party!

We finally had Tucker's birthday party last Tuesday with his closest friends at Chuck E. Cheese. He loved it and had such a good time!

Cute things

The boys are always cracking me up doing and saying funny things. The other day in the car Trey and Tucker were talking and Trey asked Tucker, "when you grow up where are you going to sleep" Tucker didn't really answer him, just said "humm" So Trey says, "when you grow up you will sleep in the big adult room with mom and dad" and Tucker says "ya that is a good idea" and says "hey mom.." and proceeded to tell me their entire conversation... and of course I laughed and told him that he will still sleep in his own room, but we will get him a new bed. Then he says, "that's a good idea" and then tells Trey everything I told him and that Trey can sleep on Tucker's bed (the top bunk, Trey currently sleeps on the bottom bunk). They crack me up!

Then the other day, a different day..I don't really remember which one..our days kind of seem to roll into one big long day sometimes, but Ty was hanging out in his little chair in the living room and Trey was sitting by him holding his hand (like Trey usually does). I'm in the kitchen cooking dinner and I see Trey being very productive and doing a big "project" in the living room. After a few minutes I see this...
Trey decided that Ty needed "a lot of things" because he gets bored just lying there all the time. What a good big brother. Ty had about 5 blankets on and most of the toys from the toy box in the living room along with the truck ride-on toy, and a pillow!

This morning after Ty woke up and ate, we were lying on the bed together. He usually has his hands held up in fists, which was the case this morning. Well, I was just watching him and I saw his eyes focus on his left hand and then he brought his hand slowly to his mouth, his eyes getting bigger as his fist was coming towards him, then he sucked on it for a few seconds, then his arm went back up to it's usual position. It was cracking up because it was so funny watching him process this new information. I could just tell he wanted that hand in his mouth and he actually brought that hand to his mouth,. Then about a minute later he did the exact same thing with his right hand. I love to just sit and watch him and see what new thing his will do, because he really is changing everyday. It is so amazing to watch his little mind process things. Now all day long whenever his is lying on his back, he has his arms straight up towards the sky, hands in little fists and he just stares at them!

Beautiful Boys

Well, I guess I really should say handsome, but either way, Vinny and I have some good looking boys! A few weeks ago, a mommy friend of mine took some pictures of all three boys together. We have been trying to get this session done now since before Christmas, but the weather just wouldn't cooperate, but we finally got them done and it was well worth the wait. My 3 boys!!!

Here are all the boys at 2 and a half months...it is so crazy to me how much they look alike!!! They are all so cute...I can't believe how much hair Trey had...it was out of control. Ty definitely has the least amount of hair, it looks like Tucker and Ty have the same amount of hair, but Ty's is actually starting to fall out a bit...I hope not too much more falls out..I won't know what to do with a bald baby :P Whenever Tucker looks any of the pictures he always asks, "which one am I?"

Sweet Brothers

I took these pictures a week or 2 ago and I'm just now getting around to getting them on here..but they are so sweet...I was putting laundry away to all the different rooms and left Ty in his crib and I come back to Ty's room and find Trey in the crib with Ty, just lying there holding Ty's hand! So I took a picture and then Tucker climbed in there and asked me to take another picture with him in there too. They are so sweet to their baby brother..he is very much loved!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TUCKER!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is Tucker's 5th birthday! He is totally stoked about being 5. The most exciting thing for his is that now that he is 5 he is a "big" kid now..this morning in the car Tucker tells Trey, "sorry Trey, you are going to have to go to school by yourself now, I'm 5 years old and I'm going to kindergarten now." So I told him, "remember Tucker you can't go to kindergarten until after summer" and he was pretty bummed about that, but that didn't last that long because we were on our way to one of the jumping places in our area that we haven't been to in ages (that is what he picked to do today). He had a great time playing there with one of his best friends, Ethan, and Trey, of course! After that we went out for lunch with Ethan, his mom and little sister, then the boys and I headed to the grocery store for Tucker to pick out his cake for his birthday celebration that is planned for last week. He decided on a Transformers cake..big surprise there :P We got a few groceries and headed for home. He actually did surprise me because he fell asleep on the way home and I carried him inside to the couch and he actually slept for about 45 minutes, which he hasn't done in years. Then we played some Super Mario Brother on the Wii together, ate some ice cream cone cupcakes(to share with his friends at school tomorrow), ate dinner, decorated those cupcakes, he opened a few presents (he is such a sweet brother, he even let Trey open one of his presents) and played with those presents, and then I let him play the Wii until bedtime! He really had a good day!

I still can't believe that I have a 5 year old...It is just so crazy how fast time goes.
