26 Weeks...

Usually I only post a new belly picture every month, but today was a pretty boring day, so I decided to take some pictures...and plus I feel like I am growing like crazy...I don't know what do you think???

Finished with project #1

I finally finished sewing all of those burp clothes. It was a lot of fun once I got everything figured out...I still kind of suck at sewing in a straight line, but oh well....just don't look too close :P Now I need to go to the fabric store to get something for a new project...I have a few things in mind, but we will see what I actually do!

Down to the double digits

I just looked at my countdown timer thing for this pregnancy and I am down to 98 days...WOAH! What the heck??? Guess I better start getting things a little more organized.... :D

We just got done frosting and decorating the cupcakes....they were YUMMY!!!!

The other night I had a dream that we made a bunch of cupcakes..yellow cake with chocolate frosting..and I wanted one so bad, but Vinny was being mean and would NOT share any with me. Now of course I am craving those yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting...so the boys and I just got done making some...they are sitting on the cooling rack right now and it is taking all of my effort to let them cool completely before frosting them and eating one!! Oh and don't worry in real life Vinny would share the cup cakes with me :D

A day at the beach

On Sunday we decided to go to the beach. The boys were really excited and couldn't wait to get there...we used to go quite often, but I don't even remember the last time we went..so it was a treat for all of us. We go to this beach/area called High Island. It used to be a highway, but a hurricane came(about 10 or 20 years ago) and pretty much blew it away. It's not one of those nice, pretty, sandy beaches, but we like it because you can drive right up on the beach to park and it's really not that crowded. Vinny and Tucker spent the entire day fishing. They caught a bunch of fish...Tucker caught a total of 5, 2 hard-head cat fish, 1 croaker, 1 sheepshead, and 1 red fish. I didn't really keep track of what Vinny caught, but Vinny was jealous that Tucker caught the red fish..but it was too small to keep anyways. Vinny missed a huge something that took his hook really hard, so we ended up having to stay an extra couple of hours to try and catch it again..but he had no such luck. Trey had fun digging in the sand. He fished for a little bit too, but doesn't like to get in the water, so he could barely cast the line into the water...he still likes doing what his big brother and daddy do though. Trey and I had fun jumping(well, he jumped...I just stood there) over the waves and he started to get brave towards the end of the day wanting to get in a little deeper, as long as I was holding his hand. We also looked for sea shells together and found some good ones, especially the conk shell. This is the first time I've found one completely intact, so I was pretty excited...I usually collect about a bucket full, but I didn't get as many this time...it was a lot harder to bend down and pick them up for some reason :P I took a bunch of pictures and spent a lot of time sitting in the shade talking to my best friend on the phone and reading a new book! Vinny got burnt bad (and it still hurting from it) and Trey had a strip of sun burn where his shorts went down from squatting in the sand all day (but it doesn't seem to hurt him any) and Tucker and I made it through the day without getting burnt. It was definitely a fun day and the boys slept good on the way home!!

24 Weeks

This week I am 24 weeks...so I thought I would post another picture. I'm feeling pretty good...just feeling pretty big already. I can tell the little guy is growing and he keeps sticking body parts out on my right side..which was fun at first, but it now becoming a little bit painful. I keep forgetting to mention that about 2 weeks back heartburn started again (I had it bad with both Tucker and Trey.) So that definately sucks....but overall I'm good!

I learned something new today...

I'm sure you have heard that saying "you learn something new everyday" well today I learned that I am don't really know how to use a melon baller...you think it would be pretty simple to make a ball, but it didn't work for me I got a lot of half balls and moon shaped things...but not one single ball...I don't know what I was doing wrong, but it did not work for me.....

I know that was random, really random, but everytime I think about it it makes me laugh....I never thought it would be so difficult to make a ball of melon with a melon baller :D

Bye Bye to our guest room

Since the new little guy is well on his way now and will most likely be here in less than 3 months, we decided it was time to start converting the guest room into the nursery. It will still serve as the guest room too because we will convert the bed into a couch...it's this futon type thing...and leave it in the room. But I will definately miss having the guest room as just a guest room. I thought I would post some pictures of it now as a guest room...then of course I will post some when it is a finished nursery!

Looking at the pictures the walls look really purple....in person it is a little purple looking, but definately a more blueish color than purple. I really want to paint it once we figure out what bedding we are going to get, but said he doesn't want to paint ever again....I really can't blame him for that (and he still has to paint the shed once it cools down some)...it was a lot of work to paint everything we painted. But I am hoping that once we get the bedding and all the furniture he will want to paint it to match everything...but anyways...bye to my cute guest room!

Operation :D

The other day Vinny bought the game Operation...not for the boys, but for him and I to play...we stayed up playing after the boys went to bed....it was fun and I did way better than Vinny at first...but after we played for a little while, it was a pretty even match :D But the next morning the boys asked to play and they actually did a pretty decent job(we set it on the easy level). Tucker actually did really good, but they both had fun playing and played for about an hour....it was cute!!
