Another one out!

The other day Tucker came home from school with one less tooth in his mouth. He bit on something during lunch that made his tooth bend back and then he was able to pull it out! He was pretty excited to loose it at school because he got this cool tooth box to keep it in!

It's hard being this bad

Ty rarely naps at home anymore...it's not that he doesn't need a nap, he is just too busy causing trouble to sleep while we are at home (he usually only naps in the car and must stay in the car to sleep). Every once in a while he does happen to fall asleep he usually just passes out exactly where he happens to be sitting.

Children's Museum Fun

The boys had one of the Monday in January off and since my mom and dad also had off we decided to head up to the childrens museum. My nephew and his family joined us too. We haven't been there in years (since Trey was a baby) and we had a blast!!

They had a whole section desiginated for bubbles above is Quentin, Tucker and Trey pulling up a huge bubble around them and below is Ty about to pop a bubble filled with fog...it was really awesome.

Fishing in January

The boys have been begging to go fishing and we had a 'warm' day so we took them to a local fishing spot. They were bummed because they didn't catch anything, but that was because they spent the majority of the time throwing rocks at the ice trying to break it. After alittle bit of the fishing we walked around the ponds checked out the ice and watched the geese.

Hot Tub Fridays!

Fridays (well sometimes Saturdays if Fridays get to busy) have become Hot Tub Night. For Christmas the big boys got bath robes to wear out there because it's usually pretty cold.

New Years Eve/New Years Day

I can't believe I didn't take any pictures of NYE...oh well, we were too busy having fun with my nephew and his family! We played a variety of board games and ate too many yummy snack foods. The big boys finally made to to watch the ball drop! They were so proud. Ty suprizingly made it until 11:30ish and was a total nightmare by that time at night! It was a great way to bring in 2012.
New Years Day we did our typical church thing and then my parents treated us to a special lunch at Olive Garden in honor of mine and Vinny's anniversary. After that since it was such a georgous day we took the boys to the park to play.

My dad celebrated a birthday, but I won't say which one..I don't think my mom will be too happy if I gave away her age :P

Bass Pro Shop -- Denver

In Texas we were lucky enough to have the boys favorite store, The Bass Pro Shop, less than 15 minutes away...however, we aren't quite as lucky here, but at least there is one in the state, I don't know what the boys would do without this store. Every year at Christmas Bass Pro Shop sets up a winter wonderland. It is awesome and they have lots of free activities and a free picture with Santa. We decided to keep with our Bass Pro Shop Winter Wonderland tradition and headed up to Denver. We met up with my brother's family and spent the entire day at BPS!
Of course the grandkids were trying to convince Gramma and Grampa to get a boat!

Christmas Season 2011

December was a crazy month!! I was busy and a lot of fun. Because I am so far behind I am just going to recap the whole month in 1 post (maybe 2 if I ever get around to getting the pictures off my phone or my mom's camera well maybe 3 if I can also manage to post about the non- Christmas related things too). We started off the month by decorating the tree. Everyone helped, even Ty! It was beautiful and Tucker got the honor of putting the Angel on the top of the tree.
One night we met up with some of our Colorado family and checked out the Zoo's Electric Safari. The zoo was lit up with tons of lights. It was beautiful! We even got to see some of the animals that are usually sleeping when we go during the day. The weather was cold (I mean it was December in Colorado and the Zoo is in the mountains), but it really wasn't too bad out.f(You can't really see the kids in this one, but you can see how awesome the lights were.) Gramma and Grampa with Ty! (I love that puppy hat on him, but he usually never wears it, he just likes to hold it.) It is so hard to get a good shot of all of them...if only that branch wasn't in front of Tucker's face...this one isn't half bad...and we are missing baby Roman, he is toasty warm and fast asleep in his car seat.) A couple of days before Christmas we got a good amount of snow and of course we had to go play in it. I really wish I could find my snowboarding pants so I could have stayed out with them on longer..They somehow have gotten misplaced. It was fun anyways! (The snow actually stuck around and we ended up with a White Christmas!) Instead of decorating 1 gingerbread house like we have done in previous years, I found a kit to decorate Santa sleighs. That way each one of the boys could have their own and do it their own way. In true fashion, Tucker was the first one done and Trey was the last one done trying to get every detail right. Surprisingly, Ty was really into it and despite how the picture might look, he really didn't eat much of the candy, he did a great job decorating. On Christmas Eve, my brother's family came over. We had fun playing games, decorating cookies, have a great Christmas dinner, and opening presents. Instead of dressing up, we decided to go with Christmas shirts.
Here are the younger kids in their Christmas PJs! I am shocked we actually got a picture of all of them smiling and looking at the camera! Here are my boys on Christmas morning..the 1 and only time during the year I actually dress them the same. I love these Christmas PJs!! They are probably my favorites of all the Christmas pjs my boys have worn. They are about to check their stockings! Me and my handsome little men after Church on Christmas morning!! (If you can't tell, I actually cut about 6 inches off my hair...well thinking about it we all got hair cuts this month)

Lucky #7

Today is Vinny & my 7th wedding anniversary...I wish we could have celebrated together, but such is life and we were apart.....

I love you Vinny, even more now than I did the day we were married. Happy Anniversary Love! Forever and Ever.

Here is to year #7 and hoping it is good to us.
