Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was pretty amazing! It was the first we have spent with my parents since Tucker was a baby. It was so fun cooking in the kitchen with my mom all day long. Vinny fried a turkey and my mom roasted on and we had all the usual sides. We had a delicious dinner, then went on a walk, and had some pie! It was almost perfect...we really misses Jake, Jenn, and the kids...and the Arzola bunch (who we pretty much always celebrated the majority of our holidays with...for as long as I can remember). This was Ty's first major holiday, but he was completely oblivious to what was going on, but we put him in his little seat and he sat right by the table as we ate!

Ty's umbilical cord stump fell off while my parents were here, so he got his very first big boy bath! He really liked it..actually being in the nice warm water. He just sat there the entire time looking around and cried when I finally took him out of the water, but then was fine once I dried him off. Tucker and Trey were right there watching him take a bath and asked to take a bath with Ty next time he gets a bath.



He has such a chubby little face!!!! I love it..he reminds me of Tucker in this picture.

SNOW DAY!!!

Today we had SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited, this morning I went to try and do a little Christmas shopping and I came out of the store and it was really coming down...it even collected on my windshield!

It was a little disappointing because the further north I drove, the less and less snow there was. It fell a little bit at the house...but nothing like south of where we live. The big boys went out side and played for a little and did get to make a few little snow balls. Trey was outside for about 45 minutes and I had to drag him inside because it was really wet out and he was soaked and shivering. After that we made hot chocolate! It was so much fun and I LOVE the snow...too bad the sun is shinning right now and no more snow. (Oh and there are way more pictures of Trey than there are of Tucker, but he told me he didn't want to take pictures, he just wanted to play)

Bass Pro Shop

During my parents visit we went to the Bass Pro Shop......it is the boys favorite store so of course we had to go. It was Ty's first time there so we had to take some pictures!

On 11/22 Trey finally got his chance to feed Ty. It was cute because Tucker had to sit there the entire time "supervising" Trey feeding Ty. I'm glad the boys are such big helpers. (Tucker and Trey don't like wearing shirts...they are men..and men don't have to wear shirts...so if you ever notice the boys aren't wearing shirts in a lot of pictures that is why)

The night before my parents got here, I went in Tucker and Trey's room to go wake up Trey to make him go to the bathroom (he has been having trouble making it through the night especially if he doesn't go right before bed..which on that night he didn't) and I found them laying like this.




It cracked me up.

1 week already

Ty is already 1 week old! This time last week, he wasn't even two hours old yet...and now he's a whole week old...time goes by so fast. Ty really is such a good baby! He sleeps a ton and eats a bunch. I am nursing him, but he will take a bottle if for some reason we need to give him one (Trey would NEVER take a bottle or a pacifier for that matter) and he loves his pacifier. The one thing that is really nice is that he won't use me as a pacifier, if he is fussy and he just wants to suck, he will only suck on a pacifier, so it is making life around here pretty easy. He is super easy going and loves to lay around in his bed, on the floor, or in his little bouncy seat thing. His personality reminds me much more of Tucker. Today Vinny took the big boys to school and then Vinny, Ty, and I went to the grocery store, Hooters for lunch, to Target, and then back to pick the boys up from school and he slept the entire time! We could go do whatever with Tucker and he came along for the ride without a fuss. When Trey was a baby, he was the complete opposite, crying and fussing..the first time we went to the mall, I spent the entire time in the dressing room at Bass Pro Shop feeding him and he still ended up crying, so we had to leave. Trey was just not content, unless he was being held or fed. Tucker was super content with just hanging out and going with the flow. The entire time I've been doing typing this blog, Ty has been sitting in his bouncy seat, sucking his paci, and looking around checking things out. Last night he slept for a good 4 and a half hour chunk, ate then went right back to sleep. I am feeling almost 100% already...I am still having a little pain at my incision site, but it's very minimal...now if these hot flashes would just go away I would be great....

It's so hard to explain how extremely happy I am! I have 2 healthy big boys and a precious baby boy and a wonderful husband...it is so nice having Vinny home and not worrying about work calling and he has to go out on a job. Vinny really has been amazing, doing extra stuff with the big boys, helping out with a ton with Ty, and doing everything he can to help me out..especially when I was in the hospital. What can I say...I got me a pretty dang good husband :D We have definitely been blessed with an amazing life....and I can't thank God enough for it.

Video Chat!

My parents got a new computer a few weeks back and decided to get a web cam to go along with it so they can see the boys(and me and Vinny too). It came with a program so we can talk to each other and see each other on the computer.(It is like Skype...but not the actuall Skype). Tonight we finally we got everything situated and had our first video chat....The boys were thrilled and thought it was awesome to talk with their gramma and grampa. Trey was a camera hog...Tucker was a little more reserved, but they both loved it. I thougt it was pretty neat...and they even got to see Ty. Only 1 week until we see them in person...YAY!!!

Big Brother Helper

Today Ty was sleeping a little longer than usual, so I decided to pump a little milk so the boys could feed Ty. Only Tucker was able to feed him, because Ty really wasn't feeling sucking on a bottle. It was so cute and Tucker was so excited he was able to feed his brother. Hopefully Ty will cooperate tomorrow so Trey will get his turn.

Ty's 1st -- Dr's Apt. and Dinner out

Today we had to take Ty for his first doctor's appointment. It was just a little check up to make sure things are still going good since leaving the hospital. Of course he is doing fantastic...he has gained some of his weight back already and everything looks perfect.

The appointment was late in the afternoon, so we decided to stop at CiCi's Pizza for dinner, making it Ty's first dinner out. (CiCi's is a pizza buffet place that we haven't eaten at in forever..for those of you that don't know). Ty slept the entire time and we had a nice dinner out together as a family of 5 :D
