Another Renaissance Assembly

The boys had their Renaissance Assembly for 2nd quater and I was super proud of them again!  They both worked hard and got the highest card this time!  I love that they are such hard workers and strive to do their very best in school.

We took advantage of the mild weather and went for a hike at one of my favorite places.  It is beautiful and not very crowded.

Tucker's first Wrestling Tournament of the Season

Tucker joined a club wrestling team and this past weekend he wrestled in his first wrestling tournament.  He was so nervous about it, but once it came time to wrestle he did awesome.  His first match he won by points (12-8).  The second match he pinned the guy in the first round.  Then in his third match he pinned that guy too and he did it in 17 seconds (I will try to post the video that I took, but blogger is giving me trouble uploading things today).  He was so proud of himself and we were all so proud of him too.  I love wrestling, but man is it stressful to watch.  I'm so proud of my boy!

Despite us finally having some cold winter weather, it warmed up enough for us to venture out to the local park and try out the new bikes and scooter.  It was a beautiful day and felt nice to be outside again!

Finally...for my Trey

Trey Finally lost his first tooth.   It has been loose for a while now (can you see the grown up tooth that already grew in behind the baby tooth??)  He did not want anyone else to pull it out because he is a big kid and can do it himself...So as he was sitting in front of the computer he was pushing it with his tongue and pushed it out all the way!

I don't know if you can tell, but he is just a little bit excited!

Electric Safari

This year we went to the electric safari again, but we went a couple of days after Christmas and we had decided to make it our new tradition to go after because there were hardly any people there.  We could wander around and not worry about being separated (because we always come in a big group).  We also were able to stop and enjoy the warm fire pits without having to fight for a spot of warmth.

We even got to see the new Elephant area..it is awesome and we can't wait until it is finished!

Christmas Day 2012

We had a beautiful white Christmas!  It was a great day to celebrate Jesus' birth with our family.  After a pretty relaxed morning, we headed to Church, came back home, and then the boys' cousins came over to have a little celebration!  We opened presents and played on of our new boardgames!  Our family LOVES boardgames and I think between all of us we got 7 new games.  Our new favorite is called Dicecapades.  If you love games, this is a must have.  (We have already played it 4 or 5 times)  So FUN!!  The rest of the night we just relaxed...a very good Christmas!

Christmas Morning 2012

Santa is an awesome man and thanks to him we had a pretty awesome Christmas morning!  The highlights of the morning were definitely the bikes for the big boys and Packer's Jerseys for all the boys. (If you can't tell we love us some Packer Football!)
