We have started regularly attending the church where the boys go preschool and last Saturday we went to a picnic they hosted. It was a lot of fun and reminded me of back in the day when we used to do all that stuff at my old church in Colorado. It was a bbq/potluck and the food was amazing. After everyone ate they had games to play. Tucker and Trey got to do their first egg toss and (with a little help from Vinny) did a good job..you know for being 3 and 5 years old). 
Well, actually Ty is 5 and a 1/2 months old already...I have been a bad blogger lately and behind on everything...but I'm getting caught up on things. This month has been filled with the most changes by far! (I will go in the order he started doing things to try and keep it better organized)
He found his feet...he is now able to grab on to those tootsies and not just stare at them anymore. It is so cute and he is always grabbing on to his feet!
He is becoming rather good at stabilizing himself and sitting up with only a little bit of support. It is so cute!
We were never able to really tell what color Ty's eyes were, they were that undefinable baby color, but now they are definitely brown!
Ty has started rolling over!! He lays on his back and rolls himself onto his side and then will lay there for a little bit and then roll all the way onto his tummy. He really hates being on his tummy, so he has actually flipped himself back onto his back a couple of times. And while on his back he can squirm himself around in a circle.
Last night was the first night Ty slept in his crib in his own room! He has been sleeping through the night for quite awhile now, but was still in the bassinet in our room, but his is getting so big when he would move he was hitting the sides of the bassinet, so it was time to move him! He is the youngest baby we moved out of our room..I'm a little sad about it, but so far so good!
This was actually on Easter, but it was Ty's first swing ride! (Excuse the pink swing, it is his friend Lilly's)

Well, that is all the pictures I have right now, but onto other new without pictures...
Ty LOVES solids now. He is eating them every night now...I mix rice cereal in a size 1 plastic baby food container and mix it with with sweet potatoes (half rice and half potatoes) and heat it for a few seconds...and he LOVES it..he will eat the entire container..he would probably eat more if I would let him, but I think for now that is plenty! Tonight I tried the rice cereal with carrots and he seemed to like it just as much as the sweet potatoes! He must be going to a growth spurt or something because he is always acting like he is starving! I have been feeding him 3 ounces of formula before I nurse him to put him down to bed and he sucks that down in just a few minutes..that too he seems to want more, but I just want to give him a little something extra because woke up the past few nights wanting to eat something. And I cleaned out his closet and he is pretty much wearing all 6-12 month and 9 month clothing...he is such a big guy!
Spring time in Texas means a lot of things...POLLEN...like I said before, but also the humidity and the heat starts creeping back..thankfully we have had a pretty pleasant spring so far...being cooler and less humid than usual. But these last couple of days have been pretty warm. Yesterday the boys were playing outside and were complaining it was too hot, so I put the sprinkler on the trampoline and they had a BLAST!! Then today the "Burb" was yet again covered in yellow pollen so we decided to wash it..so this time I got to take the pictures :D
We are big on traditions...so most holidays are always the same from year to year..it might sound boring, but I love it and it brings back so many amazing memories! So the Easter tradition my parent taught me and I now do with my own kids is..get up, find Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny hid for them while they were sleeping while still in PJ's, the kids get to play with the things in their baskets, while we (Vinny and I) get breakfast ready...which is a fruit variety and hard boiled eggs (sometimes we make cinnamon rolls and sausage or bacon...but we didn't have time this particular morning). Then we got ready and went to Church!
This year (like every year for as long as I can remember) we dyed Easter eggs to eat for breakfast on Easter morning! Tucker and Trey did a great job with the eggs and did pretty much everything themselves. They are getting so big! Ty enjoyed watching in him bumbo for a little while and then Vinny held him for a bit and Ty seemed to enjoy playing with the newspaper! 
Springtime here always means yellow pollen on EVERYTHING. It is especially bad on our black vehicles! So we had a family car wash day. I didn't get any good pictures of Tucker and Trey because they were actually the ones who were taking the pictures this time. I was surprised they got these 3 good ones!
We still have been trying to get Ty to like rice cereal, but he is still not a fan, so we decided to give him some sweet potatoes! He seemed to like it a little better than the rice. He is really good at opening up his mouth and sucking it down. Tucker and Trey wanted to help feed him and, of course I let them, and they did and they made a mess, but that is okay! We have been mixing the rice cereal and the sweet potatoes together now and he seems to like that the best! 
After we took his messy bib off..he is so chubby, but I LOVE it!!
CRAWFISH!!!! that's what! Since we live pretty close to the Gulf and Vinny spent a good chunk of his life living in the south (he was born in Louisiana and lived a lot of years in Southeast Texas) he loves Cajun food, especially boiled crawfish. Well, it's crawfish season and our favorite grocery store had a ton of live crawfish and of course we had to get some. Tucker absolutely loves it and Vinny has even taught him how to peal them himself. Trey is not really a huge fan and I'm indifferent...it's good and all, but I just think it is too much work for that little piece of food. The boys were watching the crawfish fight in our garage before we cooked them...This is really what they mean about playing with your food before you eat it :D
Just like his two older brothers Ty was born with a head FULL of hair! But unlike his brothers, Ty has been loosing some of it. It is still pretty long on top, but underneath, on the sides, it is so short. I hope it stops falling out soon because I don't know what I would do with a bald baby! 
I have been such a bad blogger!!! So, I am very sorry to my faithful readers...if there are really any of you :P
There have been many reasons for my lack of posts...
*Things have been crazy here...Vinny has had a wacky work schedule and has actually had a good chunk of time off..so I'm not on the computer as much as usual.
*I have recently found a new...one might call it an 'obsession' that has taken up most of my computer time.
*My parents new computer has been out of commission for a couple of weeks..so I didn't feel like putting the pictures on the computer when they won't be able to see them yet.
*We have just been busy doing a bunch of random crap...at random times of the day, so my normal routine is out of wack...
**But most of all I have just been a huge slacker!!
So enough of this procrastinating..I will get on it..............Tomorrow!!!!
